I had a great time working on this website for Airway! They had a great logo to work with which included an iconic element that I could easily incorporate into their website.
I was able to provide Airway with some custom details on their website. The most notable is the graphic sitting right at the top of their website. The main image of Airway’s shop and vehicles was strategically staged by the owner’s themselves and captured with a cell phone! The problem-it was the middle of winter! Not the “Always Cool” we were going for. The images snow piled all over the the driveway couple with some unsightly power lines and fencing in the background just had to go! (Fun Fact: If you look closely at the reflection of the super clean work vans, you can see snow!)
But not all was amiss with the photo. The original picture contained the most amazing blue sky, typical of a cold winter day in Alberta. This was my inspiration point. I used Photoshop to remove the unsightly images and added a drop shadow to the vans. I developed a second layer which incorporated the colors of the sky from the original photo and a gray textured layer to represent the parking lot. Finally I incorporating all of these elements using multiple layers in WordPress for the final product. THIS is what custom gives you! Attention to detail every step of the way to make a lasting impression.
